- What’s your daily admin routine?
Every morning, I first go into my group and check to make sure items are posted correctly and remove any items that are not allowed. I then review the discussion posts for any questions and make sure that posts are following the correct guidelines there.
At this point I check my messages. I continue to check in with the group throughout the day to make sure all is running smoothly. My last check-in is usually sometime around 7 pm, at which point I sign out to spend the evening with my family. - If you had an admin superpower, what would it be?
Hmm, I think my admin superpower would be to be able to spot a troublemaker before they cause problems in the group. - What’s your favourite VarageSale feature and why?
Oh gosh, I have so many! If I could narrow it down to three things, they would be the ability to follow categories, the ability to edit a post so that I do not have to rely on the member to move their items and the ability to set up my notifications on my cellphone, so I get notified when I am tagged in an item or if I get a message. Those features make my job so much easier. - What’s the best item you’ve found on VarageSale?
My best purchase to date was a Pampered Chef Deep Covered Baker that I was able to pick up for $5. It was pretty much brand new, so it was an amazing deal. - What is the most interesting thing you’ve seen for sale?
I have seen a life-size cutout of John Wayne. We haven’t really had many unusual items posted in our group. - What is your favourite part about being involved with your VarageSale community?
I love being able to help our community by providing a place for them to buy, sell, and socialize. I also love being able to meet all of these amazing people. I’ve made a few friends that I am not sure I would have met, if it were not for the group.
- What’s your favourite food?
I love mexican food! And bread lol. I am in love with baking and eating bread.
